Highway improvement and bus priority works at various locations in Central Milton Keynes (CMK). Real-time passenger information (RTPI) with displays at key destinations and on the Quality Bus routes across the borough of Milton Keynes.
Description
The project aims to make public transport in Milton Keynes a more attractive option through:
- Junction improvements.
- Bus priority measures.
- Real-time passenger information.
- Bus shelter/bus stop improvements to aid accessibility and to accommodate information displays.

Milton Keynes RTPI moves one step closer
Passengers will be one step closer to getting up to the minute information on bus arrivals after work takes place to install equipment and carry out testing of the Milton Keynes Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) system. RTPI will help passengers to plan their journeys better as the system will provide them with ‘real’ arrival times in a similar way to UK rail and airport departure boards.
