The Oakgrove area is a 30 hectare (74 acre) brownfield site, owned by Milton Keynes Partnership, on the eastern side of Milton Keynes.
Description
The site is envisaged to accommodate 1,300 new homes (of which 30% will be affordable), a neighbourhood centre, and open spaces.

An outline planning application has been submitted to Milton Keynes Council for consideration.

Oakgrove planning application gives confidence boost to Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes has been given a major vote of confidence by Crest Nicholson Plc as the developer has, together with Milton Keynes Partnership, submitted an outline planning application to Milton Keynes Council for the development of Oakgrove.

Crest Nicholson contracted as Lead Developer by English Partnerships to deliver the £500m Oakgrove Millennium Community. The Hyde Group also appointed as RSL partner to fund the affordable housing programme and to establish and run the Oakgrove Sustainable Management Organisation.

Archaeological dig begins at Oakgrove
Archaeological works are due to start on part of the Oakgrove Millennium Community site in Milton Keynes. The site, near the banks of the River Ouzel, has been identified as having the potential to contain remains from the Iron Age, Roman, Saxon and Medieval periods.

English Partnerships announces lead developer for £500m Oakgrove Millennium Community, Milton Keynes
The multi-million-pound development of the Oakgrove Millennium Community moved a step closer today (23 September) with the announcement that Crest Nicholson has been appointed as the lead developer by project partners national regeneration agency English Partnerships, Milton Keynes Council and the South East England Development Agency.
