One quarter of the grid square is occupied by Westcroft District Centre which includes a large supermarket, retail offerings and restaurants. The remainder is predominantly residential development incorporating a range of sale and affordable housing. Westcroft also includes playing fields, parks, allotments and other amenities.

Development Stage

The grid square of 1000 homes should be completed in 2012/2013 with the exception of the two reserve sites. The last development parcel, Site 16, comprising 67 homes is still to be designed.

The first phase commenced in 1994.

Completion Date

The grid square should be completed in 2012/13.

When Can I Have My Say?

Public consultation has already taken place with regard to the outline and previous reserved matters planning applications for Site 16. However a further opportunity for comment will be available at the reserved matters stage.
