University Centre Milton Keynes (UCMK) is based in Central Milton Keynes at 200 Silbury Boulevard.

Description

UCMK is a new venture for Milton Keynes - a partnership between Milton Keynes College and four local universities to provide Higher Education courses in Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes Partnership provided an investment of £7.3 million to purchase and create a purpose designed building, with state-of-the-art facilities, as the new home of UCMK.

Completion Date

UCMK is now fully operational and saw its doors open to students in September 2008.

    Minister opens new university centre
    Government minister Hazel Blears has hailed the new University Centre Milton Keynes (UCMK) as ‘a seed from which great things will grow’ when she officially opened the new university centre at a special ceremony on Monday January 19th. She was joined by a host of civic figures and business representatives including the city’s two MPs and the Mayor.

Discharge of Planning Conditions - Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Regulations 2008
