Milton Keynes Councils’ Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Affordable Housing requires that 30% of housing provided on new developments is affordable. Milton Keynes Partnership works closely with Milton Keynes Council to deliver affordable housing in line with the SPD and other relevant policy documents.
Milton Keynes Council’s Housing Strategy and Development team produce a monthly list of sites providing affordable housing in the city and can also discuss individual housing options via their Housing Options Service.
Milton Keynes Partnership also works closely with Milton Keynes Council and Registered Providers to help fund, via the National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP), new and refurbished affordable housing.
Recent NAHP-funded schemes can be found across the city, via a number of Registered Providers and include developments in Stony Stratford, Shenley Wood, Brooklands, Beanhill, Broughton, Bletchley, Oxley Park, Kents Hill, Wolverton, Newton Leys and in the city’s Northern Expansion Area.
