The Milton Keynes Partnership Committee (MKPC) was established in June 2004 by the Government to bring forward growth and development in the new city.
The partnership brings together Milton Keynes Council, The Homes and Communities Agency, Local Strategic Partnership representatives from the health, community and business sectors and independent representation.
The partnership co-ordinates and implements the delivery of this growth and plays a key role in ensuring infrastructure, jobs and community facilities are provided as part of a joined up approach.
MKPC also has planning powers to determine major applications within the expansion areas to the east and west of Milton Keynes and a small area to the north - the defined Urban Development Area (UDA). Outside the UDA boundary, Milton Keynes Council continues to control development within the remaining areas of Milton Keynes.
Questions or statements in relation to agenda items at a forthcoming committee meeting need to be received by the Secretariat in writing before 12 noon two days prior to the meeting. The Secretariat can be contacted by mail at the address shown on the Contact Us page or by email, committees@miltonkeynespartnership.info.
